I'm sure you have your own plans for expansion but think it would be nice to have at least one other forum for general discussions.

We discussed this here in the office. The problem with "General" boards is that everyone tends to flock to it, leaving the specialized boards unused. That is my opinion atleast. But if everyone feels strongly about having a general discussion board, we could discuss implementing it.

As for the files section, you may have noticed we also opened up a wiki. wiki.embeddedethernet.com. If you have cool projects or code examples, you are encouraged to make a project page over there. Then you can link to it on this forum. It is also possible to attach files to individual threads.

For my unsolicited 2 cents worth - I have exactly 2 hours of netburner experience. For my current problem a newbie board would be applicable but ... would the experts ever check there to help us or would it just be a bunch of freshmen asking questions nobody there knew answers to?

My problem is the factory demo worked great. When I attempted to upload some simple changes everything halted. I can manually get in with mttty and all I get i is 'application running'. When I abort I can run setup, boot but it reports reboot as an unknown command. Did I send garbage to a section of flash or somewhere I shouldn't have?

I will resubmit this problem to the software board just to make sure my problem doesn't get lost.

Thanks.
