SendMailAuth quit working

Any known reason for this? Do I need to switch to SSL? Using port 587. I have no indication that the web hosting service now requires something different.

We will need more information: Tools revision, NetBurner platform, PC operating system.
In general, the security requirements by hosts go up every year. Its possible (depending on the above) you will need the latest tool set with latest security protocols and ciphers.

Email is not a critical feature but I was setting one up, checked the password and so on multiple times, and it fails every time. Might be new security requirements.

The ciphers are the issue. You would need to be running on 2.9.5 or 3.3.5 releases to get the latest. Its not something that can be patched, the whole security system was re-written.
