Nano Carrier Board USB driver problem

Post by seulater »

I uninstalled my current version and deleted the C\nburn folder.
I just installed the latest version NNDK 2.6.0.025.
Now when i plug in the usb cable it does not recognise the port or install the driver. I get three bonks in a row sound when i plug it in.

I usually just rename, not uninstall. I didn't think the uninstall would remove a usb driver. One thing you could try is installing the old version again and see if that takes care of it. If so, rename the old dir, install the new release, verify usb still works. That would help determine if its an installer problem or something going on with windows.

You can check if the driver appears when you plug in the USB cable. Using Device Manager- Ports (COM & LPT) you should see "NetBurner Development Kit USB to UART Bridge (COMxx). If it's not there there's a c:\nburn\NetBurnerUSB_DriverInstall folder, you can run the .exe there to reinstall.
