running an NNDK2.51 app of MOD5270B.
under Windows 7 with IE9 i'm getting LOTS of TIME_WAITs, i.e., for every socket connection using HTTP. the application has multiple frames with periodic dynamic updates. the problem
occurs when reboot app, e.g., s/w update. at this point IE9 can't connect to the app
though the regual UDP stuff works fine.
not experiencing this problem under vista with ie8.
and no, i haven't yet(?) wiresharked it and i haven't (yet?) played around with different browsers and versions.
anyone else seen this or have any ideas?

Re: Windows 7 and LOTS of TIME_WAITs
Ive noticed lots of problems with IE9. NB Tech Support's advice is to turn on the IE9 compatibility mode. Unfortunately, I then found it didn't render things correctly. I had a long email exchange with Tech Support so they are aware of the problem (but it may be an IE9 problem). I could replicate IE9 problems by using the NB provided Tic Tac Toe app and so could tech support. One thought was that IE9 opens up a bunch of simultaneous connections causing the NB problems.
My ultimate solution was to just use FF4. You can contact tech support if you have to use IE9 and see if they have any new solutions. My ticket was closed out on 4/21/2011, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
