TFTP on MOD5234

Post by sulliwk06 »

Does anyone have any experience getting TFTP to work? I tried setting my mod5234 up for it but when i try to nfla or ndl the app from the monitor the update fails around packet* 540 of 900 or so with the message "TFTP Open Fail". Also does anyone know what option 5 (TFTP file) on the monitor setup is for? I assumed it was a file that the monitor would automatically TFTP when it boots up but it doesn't seem to do that.

Its always worked for me, but I'm not sure what could be wrong in your setup. The TFTP file name field is so you don't have to type the file name in each time you do something like nfla.

Try turning off your firewall and see if it makes a difference. As a last resort use wireshark to see exactly what is going on

so if you use the tftp file name you just type "nfla" instead of "nfla <filename>"?
