Profibus on a CB34EX

For those who wonder if it can be done I thought I'd let you know that it is possible to implement Profibus on a CB34EX. I recently developed a application where the CB34EX acts as a Class 1 Master and establishes communications with a Profibus slave. Once communications are established and it enters the data exchange mode the CB34EX acts as a Modbus to Profibus gateway. The app has been running in our test lab here at work for the last 3 weeks and has been rock stable. The CB34EX so far seems extremely suitable for profibus development.
