New module #1588 of MOD5234?

Post by fanat9 »

Did I miss announcements? That's this? Just a regular MOD5234 with RJ45 on another side? It not listed on the product pages - just MOD5234-100 and MOD5234-200 are.

Hello,

That module has a National IEEE-1588 compatible phy chip, not the micrel that is on the MOD524-100 and -200. We have a number of customers who purchase that unit, and it has been around for nearly as long as the -100IR version. The RJ-45 is on the component side to reduce the height. This unit is built to order with a 100 unit minimum, so we do not advertise it with the other standard products.
