I'm using the SBL2e in a basic serial to ethernet converter application. I will be monitoring the status of GPIO pins configured as inputs using the GPIO server capability over TCP. I plan to configure the pin functions using the Web interface at the time of assembly of the system. Then when deployed an application will connect to the SBL2e to query the status of the GPIO pins.
Is there a way to disable the Machine Commands that could change the GPIO functions or directions? I don't want the software accidentally changing the configuration. Ideally, the only commands that would be enabled would be the query version of the commands and MT.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
Disable Certain Machine Commands / SBL2e
Re: Disable Certain Machine Commands / SBL2e
Hello,
You can disable the gpio server completely, but there is no method to partially disable functions.
