I have 8 MOD5270s that I am using in an Embedded
Systems Programming class. One of the students
has somehow managed to overwrite the monitor.
(I'm not quite sure how.) Can it be reprogrammed?
If so how?
The students are working on their final projects for
the class and I need to get his board working
again as soon as possible.
Thanks
Tony Richardson

Hmm... What output are you getting from the serial ports? Can you describe its current state?

Hi Tony,
If you can still get to the boot monitor prompt, it can be
reprogrammed. If not, you will need to RMA the device. In either case,
you will need to open a support ticket to get the s/w or request an
RMA number.

All is well now. It appears that it is a problem with the
serial port on the computer that was being used instead of
a problem with the board. Thanks for the replies.
