I'm trying to make sure I understand the pin numbering convention for the MOD5234.
I have three sources of information to piece it together:

- MOD5234 pinout list
- module mechanical diagram
- Development board schematic

The mechanical diagram indicates pin 1 location but doesn't tell me how the pin numbers progress from there. The dev board schematic seems to indicate an unconventional numbering scheme as shown below (viewing the module on its back so you are looking down on the pins as shown in the mechanical drawing):

Hi Jeff,

The standard numbering convention is even on one side, odd on the other. This is due to how ribbon cables are handled. So yes, if you have the pin 1 location correct, pin 2 will be on the other side.

The solder pad for pin 1 has a square pad; the rest are round. (Also a standard convention.)
