sbl2e mac address has zeros for device part

I have applied SBL2E-AppR1P65/SBL2E-App_APP.s19 (which is the most recent factory image for the sbl2e dualserial application.) Everything looks fine except that the MAC address isn't right. It shows up as 00-03-F4-00-00-00. The manufacturer part is right (00-03-F4) but the device part (00-00-00) is obviously wrong. The bar code label on top of the device carrier shows 0003F4064669.

This erroneous MAC address is reported in NBFind (from within NBEclipse) as well as through the diagnostic monitor on the serial port:
OK>AT#CURMA?00:03:F4:00:00:00
. My router's DHCP table shows it wrong, too. So does the html configuration page. I do not recall if, when the sbl2e arrived, it did the same thing.

Did I somehow bollix the MAC address? Is it configurable, or shouldn't that be a readonly register from within the ColdFire processor itself?

Thanks,
jmh

Judging by your other threads: Yes, I believe you nuked the MAC while messing with the Config Record. I think there may be a way to correct the MAC on the device, but I'll need to check if a) it exists for the L2E and b) if we're willing to allow the info into the wild (MAC addresses are supposed to be fixed by the manufacturer [read, us], so allowing customers to override them is something we try to avoid).

Yes, well, I seem to be a danger to myself if not to others, but as long as I'm making money, they're not going to lock me up...oh, wait....
Actually, I've already signed an NDA with NetBurner so I'm not exactly wild. We should probably take this thread private at this point.

Yup. I'd say, put in a ticket and we can sort it out there.
