Is the "Local Echo" box checked at the top of Mtty?

uart0 rx goes to both the usb and db9, which is set by a jumper, make sure that is correct. uart0 tx can go to both places at the same time, since its an output.

Actually, before my post was approved, I figured it out. I had the board still in my implementation which had something attached to the UART0 pins for GPIO. I removed the items from those pins and it worked.
