What is the IP address and mask of your PC?
What is your network configuration? Are you plugged into a router with dhcp, or direct?
Checksum fail
Re: Checksum fail
Two questions for you; actually, more like one question and one test:
- Have you hooked anything up to the FlexBus pins of the module at all?
- Can you run an application downloaded directly into RAM*?
- Enter the alternate boot monitor.
- Enter the command 'nativeboot'.
- Abort this next boot process by entering 'A' to enter the primary monitor.
- Enter the command 'DL'.
- Transfer a test application s19 file. This is the one without the _app in the name.
- Once the transfer is complete enter the command 'GO'.
- Your application should boot.

Re: Checksum fail
Hello again,
There is never anything else hooked up to the module. I tried the DL command and it worked pretty good, I could upload a the factory demo; I can see the menu and interact with it; I can't ping the module from my computer (the module is plugged directly to my laptop), hence the browser isnt able to launch the webpage.
As for the previous questions, the module is configured with IP: 128.1.1.0, Mask: 255.255.0.0. and those values remain after a reboot.

Re: Checksum fail
Can you please RMA the module.
It appears the the Flash is not writing....
I'd like to have a look at that particular failure.

Re: Checksum fail
Sorry, what do you mean by RMA
Re: Checksum fail
RMA is return merchandise authorization. Go to Netburner support and request a RMA to send the module back for repair or repacement.
But first, you said:
If you are using a regular cable (blue), then I think you have to plug that into a switch or router.

Are you using a cross-over cable (usually red or orange). The used to ship one with each development kit, but the last kit i purchased didn't have one.the module is plugged directly to my laptop

Re: Checksum fail
I would like to highlight that IPSetup does work when I am in the alternate monitor; AutoUpdate doesn't, and I cant ping the module.
