Would NetBurner consider supplying their program update exe's as .Net assemblies or similar, so developers could wrap that functionality into their own custom setup apps? For instance, we have a .Net app that sends user list, settings (a "system profile"), etc. into the file system. Would be nice if we could include our "own" IPSetup and AutoUpdate in that app so everything looks like ours, but using the NB apps as the underpinning.
Thanks,
Ray
IPSetup and AutoUpdate Wrappers
Re: IPSetup and AutoUpdate Wrappers
Hello Ray,
We include the source code for IPSetup and Autoupdate in the \nburn\pcbools directory of your development kit installation. You can port that source to include in your Windows or OSX custom configuration application, change the logo, etc. We have many customers who have done this successfully. I would make sure to get the latest source through your support account.
Best regards,
Tom
