Well, good news and bad news, after re-installing it for the 4th time it started working.
Now for some reason, the net burner device in the field quit working. But that's an easy fix for us, reboot it, if it doesn't come back, buy a new one.

When I performed the upgrade, I uninstalled the previous version before installing the new version for fear something like this might happen.

I've upgraded our Virtual Comm software from 2.1 to 2.53 and now I cannot create a new connection.
We use this in conjunction with 2 SBL2eX-100IR's for polling serial devices.
I've disabled AV, verified no issues with permissions via event log, and confirmed the service is installed and running.
